TFT Lab (tft-lab.com) is a free Teamfight Tactics comp analytics and solver tool. This page describes what data the site collects, how long it is kept, and the third-party services it relies on. If anything here is unclear, email [email protected].

What we collect

  • Locale cookie — a single cookie named locale stores your chosen interface language so the site doesn't keep redirecting you. No tracking ID, no fingerprint.
  • Local storage — your selected skin preference is persisted in your browser's local storage as tft-lab-skin-state. This never leaves your device.
  • Standard server logs — IP address, user agent, request path, and timestamp are logged by our CDN and origin server for security and abuse prevention. Logs are rotated and discarded within 30 days.

We do not run Google Analytics, Plausible, Mixpanel, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party analytics SDK. We do not collect emails, phone numbers, payment information, or browsing behaviour profiles.

Match data collection (aggregate meta analytics)

To generate the comp statistics shown at /database, TFT Lab periodically samples publicly available ranked Teamfight Tactics matches via the Riot Games API. We extract aggregate signals only — unit pick rates, comp fingerprints, placement distributions, item rates — and drop the raw match JSON within 5 minutes of ingestion, in compliance with Riot's API Terms of Service.

No individual player's matches, accounts, or in-game names are stored long-term unless that player voluntarily searches for their own account on the site, in which case the response is cached per Riot's caching rules (≤5 minutes for match data, longer for account metadata) and then discarded.

Third-party services

  • Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, and TLS termination. Cloudflare sees requests in transit. See their privacy policy.
  • Community Dragon — our server fetches static game assets (champion icons, trait descriptions, patch data) from Community Dragon. Your browser does not talk to them directly.
  • Riot Games API — our server pulls public match data. Your browser does not talk to Riot directly through this site.

Your rights

We do not hold any personally identifying record about you on our servers. To fully remove the only client-side state we store, clear this site's cookies and local storage in your browser settings.

Children

TFT Lab is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change what data is collected or how it is used, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and display a notice in the site footer for at least 30 days.
